Welcome to the Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law Sports Law Society Webpage. The SLS was founded in 2003 by four students: Mindy Schroeder-Hash, Erik Hash, Jeremy Roberts, and Richard Stahl. By the end of that year the organization was the 2^nd largest in the College of Law. Since, the organization has strived to continue to bring the sports-related legal issues to campus, as well as trying to have a little fun in the process.

What to look for during the 2005-’06 Academic School Year:

¯ Election of New Officers.

¯ Revitalization of Race Judicata - a Marathon run for charity which was formerly a staple of the College of Law. It has not been run in the past few years, however this fall it will return.

¯ Homecoming weekend Seth Arkow, ONU Alum and Counsel for a Semi-pro Arena Football League will be coming to campus to speak.

¯ Currently looking for another speaker, for fall or possibly Spring Semester.

¯ 3^rd Annual Flag Football Tournament.

¯ Annual Olympics with Phi Alpha Delta.

¯ Participation in Ohio Northern Intramurals (Basketball, Volleyball, Flag Football, Softball).
