Biography:
Leah Sellers is a skilled lawyer who has helped clients in multiple areas of the law. She has successfully litigated civil rights, government, and bankruptcy cases and has helped business clients buy and sell assets and equity. Sellers is committed to community service and was elected councilperson for the City of Marysville, where she is working to improve city finances, public safety and land use planning. She also serves the Marysville School District as a member of its Audit and Finance Committee. Leah has successfully represented a number of pro bono clients over the years, including helping a young client with autism obtain private insurance coverage for costly Applied Behavior Analysis therapy. She practiced with the Jones Day law firm and then worked as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. Sellers has practical business experience as well. Before law school, she worked as an accountant for a Fortune 500 company. During law school, she co-founded an international internet-based business.
