Biography:

Professor Pecchioni joins the faculty of the College of Law in August, 2007.  Prior to coming to ONU, she was an associate in the Indianapolis office of Ice Miller LLP where she was a member of the Intellectual Property Group. She concentrated her practice in the areas of trademark and copyright prosecution and litigation and counseled clients in various aspects of trademark law, including adoption of new trademarks, registrations in the United States and abroad, licensing, and enforcement of rights. She also assisted clients with domain name registration and enforcement, drafting and negotiating contracts, franchising, and border enforcement of intellectual property through U.S. Customs. She previously served as Senior Counsel for Sears Intellectual Property Management Company in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

Professor Pecchioni volunteers much of her time helping those underserved.  Her commitments include being a Founding Member of the Fannie Lou Hamer Project, Board of Directors for the Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic, a volunteer attorney for the Protective Order Pro Bono Project and the Organizing Committee for the Circle City Classic. She was also a member of the inaugural class of the Indianapolis Bar Association's Bar Leaders Series and the Women's Fund, OPTIONS '03 class. Additionally, her memberships include Marion County Bar Association, where she is currently the President-Elect; National Bar Association, CLE committee; International Trademark Association, Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Committee; and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
