Services for L1s

 As soon as law school begins, we offer sessions on career planning and development and encourage all students to attend. These presentations are offered in addition to individualized career counseling. Law students begin thinking about their career options as soon as they enroll but in keeping with the guidelines of the National Association for Law Placement, we begin scheduling individual counseling appointments for first-year law students after November 1.

In November, during the L-1 Career Services Orientation, you will receive a career services packet, filled with information for your career development including interviewing techniques, resume preparation, and cover letter etiquette.
