Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law Class Gift Campaign
The generosity of graduating classes has long served to support student scholarship and capital improvements at the Pettit College of Law. Each year, the graduating class gift committee strives to encourage their classmates to participate to continue to make the Pettit College of Law a better institution for classes to come.
2011 Class Gift Designation
The 2011 third year class gift will be used for future renovations and expansion of the student lounge. This area is available for use by every law student. The money students and family donate to the class gift will directly affect student life at Ohio Northern Pettit College of Law.
2011 Class Gift Committee Goals
Each year the class gift committee sets goals and expectations for their class, and strives to reach these goals during the Class Gift Campaign. This year, the committee has set two goals:
- Minimum fund raising of $10,000.00
- Engagement of as many students to maximize class participation
Any amount given will help us reach our fundraising goal and increase our class participation rate.

- Pick up a pledge sheet from one of the Class Gift Committee members or the Office of Law Development

Reasons to Give to the 2010 Class Gift
- Every gift to the Pettit College of Law counts. A high giving rate shows firms, foundations and prospective students that alumni believe in the school.
- The money raised in the Class Gift campaign goes directly to benefit students.
- Your Class Gift donation helps continue the cycle of giving, providing support for current and future students so that they may have the same opportunities and benefits that you received while at Ohio Northern Law.
- Payment on a pledge is not due until May 31, 2011. This gives you a year of income before you send any money to Ohio Northern Law.
- Your donation is tax deductible.
