KMK ATTORNEY ALLISON BISIG OSWALL
ELECTED TO CINCINNATI BAR ASSOCIATION BOARD OF TRUSTEES
(CINCINNATI, OH, May 11, 2009) Allison Bisig Oswall, JD '06, an attorney in the Real Estate Group at Keating Muething & Klekamp (KMK)), was recently elected to the Board of Trustees of the Cincinnati Bar Association (CBA).
The mission of the Cincinnati Bar Association is to "maintain the highest professional standards among attorneys, to enhance the professional competence of attorneys, to improve the administration of justice, to serve the needs of members, and to provide law-related service and education to the public." The CBA's Board of Trustees represents the governing body of the association. Local attorneys volunteer their time to serve on the board.
"The Cincinnati Bar Association is committed to serving the needs of the Cincinnati community by offering a variety of legal programs, referral services, and many community service projects," said Oswall. "I look forward to contributing to the CBA and the Greater Cincinnati community."
Oswall also serves as Chair of the CBA's Women Lawyer Committee. In addition, she serves as the Team Captain for the Catholic Inner-City Schools Education Fund and is a Mock Trial Coach at St. Ursula Academy. She is also a member of Xtraordinary Women, "a non-profit organization dedicated to collaborating with, raising awareness of, and providing funding for identified and deserving established and/or fledgling charitable organizations that are assisting women in a variety of ways." Oswall earned her J.D. from Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law (2006) and her B.A. from the University of Dayton (2003).
