Welcome from the Dean |
Our College of Law has been preparing bright, hard working students for the legal
profession since 1885. Each year students from over 200 undergraduate colleges and at
least 45 states gather in Ada to continue this tradition.
These remarkably diverse and
talented students come to us, in large part, because our program handcrafts each law
graduate rather than mass producing huge graduating classes. We invite you to join them
in this unique environment for legal education.
With a nationally recognized faculty, championship moot court teams, state-of-the-art
computer facilities and a library with over 400,000 volumes, our school is set apart from
the competition. Ultimately, we pride ourselves on a high standard created by small
classes, individualized attention and professors who know you by name. Our extremely low
student/faculty ratio allows us to serve each student—teaching them in small classes,
working with them one-on-one in our offices, directing them in independent projects,
and vigorously debating with them in the lounges and hallways about the latest
developments in the law.
This authentic commitment to personal attention and real faculty/student interaction,
both inside and outside the classroom, is the hallmark of our school. Ohio Northern is an
unusual, special place. I invite you to learn more about our law college and particularly
to visit campus. When you do come, please stop by to see me personally.
