Q: Do I have to do an on-campus interview to be considered for a position inthe Summer Starter Program?
- Yes. Only you and your presence can convince us of your intense desire to attend law school, and become a successfulattorney.
Q: When should I apply to be considered for this program?
- Summer Starter Program interviews will begin in January.Applications will be accepted prior to January and until the Summer Starter seats are filled. The program begins in early June.
Q: Can I graduate early if I successfully complete this program?
- Yes. ONU offers several classes during the summer for rising secondand third year students. Taking a full course loadand summerclasses would enable you to graduate at the end of the fall semesterin your third year.
Q: Is there a minimum GPA required from the credits earned during thesummer starter program to stay in the law school, andwhat if I don't makeit?
- Summer Starter students have until the end of the spring semester toestablish (or maintain) good academic standing.
- The Summer Starter Program is not a qualifier program
Q: Are there any extra expenses to me to take part in the Summer StarterProgram?
- Eight credit hours of first year credit will be taken at $1076 percredit hour. This is in addition to the fall and springsemestertuitions.
Q: When will I receive billing information for the summer semester?
- You will receive your summer semester billing statement when you start classes. You will have two weeks after the beginning of classes to pay any balances due.
Q: Am I required to hold medical insurance?
- Yes. ONU will automatically enroll you in our Student Health Care plan. Details on this plan are still unavailable at this time. If you have health insurance coverage, you can opt-out of our plan by providing proof of enrollment when arriving on campus.
