The student is placed with the civil division of a county prosecutor’s office or with a city law director’s office. The student
will research and draft legal memoranda and pleadings dealing with real estate, zoning, civil litigation and legislation. The student
will also draft ordinances and attends council and state regulatory meetings. Under the supervision of the governmental attorney
such as the civil division of a county prosecutor's office, and IRS office, a city law director's or city council's legal division, the
student will deal with civil legal issues affecting the government.
