The Corporate Transactions Clinic provides a clinical experience for those students who plan to practice business law and are
seeking practical experience. The Corporate Transactions Clinic handles the incorporation of non-profits and preparation of the
IRS filings necessary for the corporation to obtain non-profit status. In addition, the students help the organization to write its
by-laws and other documents that may be necessary to obtain the desired corporate status. The Clinic is currently working
with the West Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church and several neighborhood groups. This is a three credit hour
internship that requires the student to work a minimum of eight hours per week.
