LL.M. IN SCIENCE AND THE LAW

Proposed LL.M. in Science and the Law Ohio Northern University is proposing an interdisciplinary program in Science and the Law that will lead to an LL.M. degree for state and federal judges. The proposed program would be open to judges who have completed at least 120 classroom hours in the Advanced Science and Technology Adjudication Resource (ASTAR) Program.

Requirements

The Program A series of modules covering DNA, toxicology, fingerprint analysis, explosives, accident reconstruction, child and adolescent psychology, forensic accounting, forensic computer analysis, structural engineering, psychological pharmaceuticals, use and abuse of demonstrative evidence, and the use of guardian ad litems. An emphasis will be placed on "hands-on" experience in labs and the field.

Faculty Outstanding teachers drawn from Ohio Northern University's College of Law, College of Engineering, College of Pharmacy, College of Business Administration, and Department of Biological and Allied Health Sciences. There will also be nationally recognized medical and scientific experts.

CLE Credit The program will apply for CLE credit.
