The Office of Law Career Services is dedicated to helping
you in all aspects of the job search process. We are
committed to providing career services to all Ohio
Northern College of Law students regardless of career
aspirations, grade point average or any other criteria. Our
goal is to assist you in the transition from law student to
employed professional.
Ohio Northern graduates are successful throughout the country, at all levels and in
challenging and rewarding positions. Over 600 employers use our Office of Career Services
for assistance in hiring law clerks, summer associates, and attorneys by posting jobs with us,
conducting on-campus interviews or participating in our resume collection program. During
the 2005-06 school year, we had 50 employers interview on campus, collected resumes for
another 35 employers, and posted over 1900 job announcements in our shared LawMatch job
database.
Our placement rate for graduates nine months after graduation (the ABA standard) has
averaged over 95% for each of the past five years. According to the 2006 edition of The
Princeton Review “Best 159 Law Schools,” the ONU Career Services program is ranked the
best among all Ohio law schools with a Career Ranking Score of 90.
